This is not new, talked about it a time ago here. Few days ago I received an email from the Encyclopedia of Life project, they had uploaded 1 million species descriptions in their pages and its finally working!
I waited for some days to make this announcement 'cause the system was totally overloaded the very first days and I did not wanted to send them more traffic to handle.
If you are interested in see an species description is a nice place to start, they have a system for beginners or you can go into fine specialist detail. Its up to you.
Want to setup some Bacillus sp. pages for the site!, lets see what happens.

Love and Happiness
Finally things are solving out, the genome paper we've been working for the last year is finally accepted and will be published soon in PNAS! Still gona wait for the online version to comment about it (and I'm very anxious about it) but is like a nice release, and now have plenty of time and mood to work and move into other new research labours!
Seems like this is time for changes, and new landmarks. After almost 4 years of sharing the appartment my roomie Luis David leaved, and now is on his way to a postdoc possition @ Germany. Best wishes for the duderino and hope that now with one best friend in Germany I have more excuses to finally assist to an oktoberfest.
I want to give an advice to all the people who is intending to build a home made computer cluster. This is because there is the intention to setup a student's bioinformatics cluster at my institution but the problem is to get the newest hardware to work on the cluster!, we are having serious issues trying to install the cluster due to the lack of support of some ethernet drivers within the latest linux kernel versions that are distributed like the default with some clustering systems like Rocks... Hope to solve this issue this week with my super geek friend Juan Caballero......
Finally this song is the summary of this weekend feelings!, Al Green's Love & happiness:
